About Me

I am a certified personal trainer (NASM CPT) with my corrective specialization (NASM CES) and nutrition certification (Precision Nutrition Lv:1). I have been training professionally for 6 years now. Starting out at a gym focusing primarily on obesity and transitioning elsewhere with a more broad, less specific member base has given me the opportunity to work with a vast range of clientele ranging from those with multiple joint replacements to breast cancer warriors recovering from post-op mastectomies. I believe in working WITH providers to ensure what’s most beneficial for my clients and am happy to coordinate care as needed with them at your request.

I didn’t start out as one of those magically gifted athletes who has always had a great relationship with exercise, food, or even my body. I’ve struggled with eating disorders and believe it or not my weight has fluctuated from 115-215lbs over my teenage years and into my 20s. I understand what it’s like not being comfortable in your own skin, even hating your reflection, and not knowing how to fix it. During an incredibly stressful time in my early 20s, I was encouraged to find a healthy outlet to help manage my anxiety. I started running and exercising again, but this time was different: I felt great. I was sick of hating myself. I decided to learn more about how to exercise and eat properly. For me. For my health. And I loved it!

You CAN have a balance of food you enjoy and exercising while still living your life; regardless of working 12-16 hour days. People aren’t one size fits all, so why should your workout routine be? Small adjustments can make huge impacts and I believe in focusing on long term sustainability for permanent results. Fitness is a journey, not a destination. Let’s get you started on yours.
